Demand Universal Access to TB-HIV Services by 2015

postcard

Even though TB is the leading killer of people with HIV/AIDS, as few as 1% of HIV+ people around the world are screened for TB.

Join ACTION partners in demanding universal access to high quality TB-HIV services by 2015, which would likely cut current mortality rates by 80 percent - saving the lives of hundreds of thousands of people each year.

$19 billion is needed to make universal access to TB-HIV services a reality by 2015.

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria, the World Bank, and the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief are the three biggest donors for HIV/AIDS but aren't yet adequately tackling TB, the biggest killer of people living with HIV/AIDS.

These donors must invest more money to fight TB-HIV and ensure every person living with HIV is screened for TB and referred for either prevention or treatment services through their programs.
